The society offers micro-credit , or small loans , to improve the standard of living for some of cairo’s most underprivileged inhabitants at Abou Ghaleb and the surrounding villages . the micro-credit scheme enables recipients to use their skills to generate their own income (the keyword here being “empowerment”) . Members of the Society remain in close touch with the recipients to offer advise in the management of small business.
